Lake District Music

Lake District Music is one of the leading classical music organisations in Cumbria, especially known for its long-running Summer Festival, which has been going strong for over 40 years. They bring world-class musicians to the region and champion emerging talent through masterclasses and showcase concerts. Making the most of the Lake District’s natural beauty, LDM runs family events, walking tours with a musical twist, and cross-artform collaborations that make classical music feel fresh and accessible.

As a regular client, Craigmyle helped LDM secure an Arts Council grant after which they retained our services to help them develop a Case for Support and a string of trust applications focused on a sustainable future through longer term core funding. This helped them secure the funding to realise their strategic objective of moving from summer festival to year-round and from Lake District to Cumbria-wide.
