Dynamic Dunure

Craigmyle was commissioned in autumn 2025 to support Dynamic Dunure, a community-led heritage project on Scotland’s west coast.

Working to a challenging two-month timetable, we delivered two parallel workstreams: a feasibility report exploring wider funding opportunities and providing prioritised recommendations, alongside support for the preparation and submission of a Heritage Fund Development Phase grant application.

We quickly developed a clear understanding of the project and its ambitions, undertaking a focused review of funding opportunities and providing strategic advice tailored to the project and the Heritage Fund’s requirements. We also worked collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including the business planner, charity and local authority partner, to strengthen the application and supporting evidence.

Our support helped ensure the submission of a robust, well-evidenced application, and Dynamic Dunure was subsequently awarded a £180,000 Development Grant from the Heritage Fund.
