Craigmyle partnered with East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) to assess and develop their capital campaign for the relocation of their Cambridge base. The target was to have the new base operational by July 2028, with a multi-million fundraising goal and to use the campaign to grow their major donor fundraising significantly. We conducted a comprehensive feasibility study and provided a detailed strategic and operational plan. This involved in-depth interviews with key stakeholders, a thorough review of EAAA’s historical and current fundraising activities, and the creation of a compelling Case for Support. Our research into potential funders and campaign leadership proved invaluable, identifying significant fundraising opportunities and ensuring that the campaign was firmly grounded in evidence-based targets.
The final report included strategic recommendations, an operational plan, a draft Case for Support, a clear assessment of likely income, staffing needs, and policies and systems needed for successful major donor fundraising. As a result, EAAA was equipped with a robust fundraising strategy, and the tools needed to launch their capital campaign. Our close collaboration ensured that EAAA’s campaign was not only feasible but positioned for long-term success. Craigmyle continues working alongside EAAA to support delivery and fundraising throughout the campaign.
