Change of Scene is a local charity that provides animal-assisted outdoor learning for young people who are struggling to engage with mainstream education. As demand for its programmes continued to grow, the charity needed to secure a permanent home that would enable it to expand its work and provide long-term stability.
Craigmyle worked closely with the Chief Executive and small staff team to assess the feasibility of a capital campaign to fund the purchase of a new site. Through a detailed feasibility study, we helped identify the campaign’s fundraising potential, tested the case for support with prospective donors, and developed a practical campaign plan tailored to the charity’s capacity and ambitions. Alongside strategic recommendations, we established the fundraising principles, priorities and prospect pipeline needed to underpin a successful campaign.
The study provided the confidence to launch the New Site Campaign, giving trustees and staff a clear roadmap for delivery. Since then, the campaign has secured more than 70% of its £600,000 target, putting the charity within reach of acquiring a permanent home that will transform its ability to support vulnerable young people for many years to come.
