In 2021, a team of Craigmyle Consultants was commissioned by Pembrokeshire County Council to draft a complex funding application within Round 1 of the UK Levelling Up Fund in support of a major heritage and culture focused town centre regeneration project at Haverfordwest.

The project involved close partnership working with the Council and other commissioned consultancy teams to develop a successful £17.7m bid in under three months.

A second bid secured a £368.5k National Lottery Heritage Fund development grant for a community consultation project at Haverfordwest Castle, with the delivery grant application decision due in 2026.

A third-stage project to fundraise for a major new visitor attraction within the castle is nearing completion, including securing £2.79m from Welsh Government, with an additional Welsh Government bid decision due in 2026.
